Today I installed the Total Video Pack with Kaltura’s media capabilities. This allows me to post video to my blog, remix it and more, and even cooler….allows people to post video responses to the videos I post.

This is some really cool stuff and I hope to be posting more of it when we start getting our film project underway.

open source video, online video platform, video solution

I use this old Arf! video as the test video when I do video because it has a good size and doesn’t say much about anything.

I grabbed the latest version of Acid Xpress and the Demo Loop pack the other night and just playing around put together some quick loops.

These would be used for background music… nothing I imagine anyone would want to claim as a masterpiece.

Shootout

I’ll probably be doing more at some point….just need to get some fresh samples.

Enjoy!

This is a test post done with BloGTK. In the future, I will probably be blogging from my Ubuntu Desktop, or another Blogging Application.

I redesigned the website and upgraded my hosting plan. I didn't use WordPress on my own site since the MySQL Database is temporarily in use for another site I'm trying to pitch. I have a standard set of plugins for WordPress that I use, and if the customer has a gallery2 image gallery, it is integrated as well.

As for the portal, I decided that for now it will just be a list of sites I build and maintain from home. (My Jobe is building sites too, but I stay out of their area of specialization) I plan to do a search engine for these sites, but that is something I will take some more time to impliment since I want to do it right.

I'll get the bookmarks and software sections done soon… I've been finding lots of nice stuff, and plan on linking it from here.
